Sauerland in winter

We had a short trip during the Chritmas and new year holiday time. Sauerland in Germany is about 3 hours driving from us. Winterberg is very popular for the winter sports, especially for Dutch. There were everywhere Dutch cars. I had a feeling we were in Netherlands. But unlikely it was too warm to have snow. Only raining, raining, all day along.

The white and black houses are tipcal there. You can't find the other colour. I guess there must be sort of building rules. Sauerland is a little bit like Alps area, with the hill views up and down. The mountains are not high, but beautiful. I prefer Sauerland to Halz.

There are many rivers and streams which made the view more vivid.
